Mercadobon marketplace showing listings and the browse experience

Overview

A wholesale marketplace built for an island economy.

Wholesale buying on Bonaire meant phone calls, WhatsApp threads, and price lists scattered across dozens of suppliers. MercadoBon brings it into one place: a single storefront where island businesses find verified local sellers and order directly.

Buyers browse a shared catalog, compare prices across sellers, and place orders without chasing anyone down — while sellers get a proper online channel to the island's restaurants, bars, hotels, and retailers.

Focus: Wholesale catalog, price comparison, direct ordering

What we did

We designed and built the storefront around the wholesale buyer: a fast, catalog-first experience for browsing products, comparing prices between verified sellers, and ordering directly.

Verified sellers keep the marketplace trustworthy for B2B buying, and the catalog is structured to stay quick and easy to navigate as more sellers and products come online.

Outcome

  • Local sellers reach the island’s restaurants, bars, hotels, and retailers online.
  • Buyers browse verified sellers, compare prices, and order directly in one place.
  • A fast storefront that stays quick as the catalog and seller base grow.

MercadoBon turns a fragmented, offline wholesale process into a single storefront the whole island can use.
